AML Policy (Anti-Money Laundering Policy)

The AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Policy is aimed at preventing illegal transactions related to terrorist financing, money laundering, and other unlawful activities.

The N-Obmen service conducts comprehensive transaction monitoring, including blockchain address history analysis and risk assessment using the Rapira AML analyzer.

As part of AML control, a risk assessment model (Risk Score) is applied, on the basis of which decisions on transactions are made.

Risk Classification:

High Risk:

  • Stolen Coins
  • Ransom
  • Child Exploitation
  • Terrorism Financing
  • Dark Market
  • Dark Service
  • Enforcement Action
  • Scam

Medium Risk:

  • Illegal Service
  • Mixer
  • Fraudulent Exchange
  • Sanctions
  • Gambling

Risk Thresholds:

  • Share of High Risk assets — no more than 5%
  • Share of Medium Risk assets — no more than 10%
  • Overall Risk Score — no more than 75%

If these thresholds are exceeded, the transaction may be temporarily suspended for additional verification (KYC/SoF).

Each transaction is analyzed individually, and the final risk assessment may be adjusted based on the user profile and the nature of the transaction.

User Requirements:

  1. The sender and recipient of the Payment under a Request must be the same person. Transfers to third parties are prohibited.
  2. The user must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  3. When using a bank card, both card verification and identity verification are mandatory.
  4. The Service reserves the right to refuse service to users from high-risk jurisdictions (the list of countries is maintained and may be updated).

KYC Policy (Know Your Customer)

As part of AML compliance, the N-Obmen service applies user identification (KYC) and Source of Funds (SoF) verification procedures.

  • suspend transactions until verification is completed;
  • request additional information from the user.

For verification, the following may be requested:

Verification Process:

  1. Initial AML analysis of the transaction
  2. Temporary suspension of the transaction if elevated risk is detected
  3. Requesting data from the user
  4. Conducting KYC/SoF verification
  5. Decision on the transaction (release or refund of funds)

Verification Timeframes:

The verification process may take from 1 to 30 business days depending on the complexity of the case and the completeness of the provided data.

Refund Policy

If a transaction fails AML verification, the funds may be returned to the sender after completion of the KYC/SoF procedure.

Refund Fee:

  • up to 5% of the amount, but not more than 100 USD equivalent;
  • for bona fide users whose funds are not linked to illegal activities, only the network fee is charged.

Refund Processing Time:

within 24 hours after completion of the verification.
